LIGHT GLOBES (CFL globes only)
CFL globes and Fluorescent tubes can be recycled, but NOT in your recycle bin. They contain mercury, ( this is toxic in the environment) this is recovered along with metal, glass and phosphorous. Locally, Hills Recycling will take CFL globes bulbs but long fluoreocent tubes need to go to Monash or Coldstream Transfer station. Other globes can go wrapped in your landfill bin.
Reuse
