LIGHT GLOBES (CFL globes only)
CFL globes and Flurocent tubes can be recycled, they contain mercury ( this is toxic in the environment) and this is recovered along with metal, glass and phosphorous. Locally, Hills Recycling will take CFL globes bulbs but long flurocent tubes need to go to a Transfer station. Other globes can go wrapped in your landfill bin. .( broken cfl globes should be wrapped and put in a bag in the garbage).
Reuse
CFL cannot be reused but incandescant can for craft see how to safely make a light bulb planter here
