5. Pull out the old bristles with pliers
or cut off the head with secateurs ( rubbish bin the head and bristles)
a) add the handle to your green (garden) waste bin.
b) break up with hammer and add to compost
c) cut it up add to the garden mulch.
d) use as kindling
